Todd was a false necromancer who conned people into thinking he could communicate with spirits. This ended up causing him trouble when, after narrowly avoiding being eaten by a monster, he was pulled into the Spirit Realm by the Pride and Sloth Golems to find someone to build them new bodies. As his luck would have it, the first necromancer he contacted was Murdoch, who didn't like Todd's manner of business. Todd attempted to bribe Murdoch into helping him, but the end result turned out to be giving the Golems a two-headed body. The Pride half sent Todd back to his home realm, where he was promptly killed.
